For over 35 years we have been meeting the printing needs of the Lothian's, Scotland and the UK with our personal and professional service. We provide full graphic design, print and marketing services for our customers from Large Organisations, Small Businesses, Charities and the members of the public.
We aim to take the stress from your project regardless of tight turnaround schedules. Our friendly staff will talk you through options on your design brief to produce a cost effective, high quality end product.
We can design from brief or from existing artwork to produce the highest quality products in this competitive market. We strive to go the extra mile for our customers to allow them to remain unique within their sector.
In 1978 from a small garage in Broxburn, Brian Currie Printers was born specialising in Litho and Letterpress printing. In 1983 the company expanded to the current site on Broxburn main street and established itself as a strong home grown company.
Our long standing staff have learned the print business from the print room floor up to the design and management levels. And with the drive to stay in the forefront of printing advancements the company has grown solidly over the years. We have now opened a 2nd unit locally which has allowed us to expand into large format printing, bespoke Lithographic and Digital printing and promotional printing. We are proud to have clients who are leading in their fields in Scotland and the UK.
DIGITAL PRINTING - For small run print jobs digital is the way for you. With no film costs, plate making or drying time this is most advantageous for speed and time over traditional litho printing. With our digital printers including a brand new top of the range Ricoh on site we can print from 1 copy of your artwork to thousands on up to 300gsm paper. This allows us to turn work around in hours rather than days.
LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING - The more traditional way of printing is Lithographic. Although it has extra cost such as set up charges for plates and time for drying it allows for larger runs, Pantone spot colours, florescent inks, metallic inks and print onto heavier boards up to 400gsm. Our litho machines include a Heidelberg Speedmaster 2 colour and Presstek DI which uses waterless ink (Aqualess).
LARGE FORMAT PRINTING - Large format images can be printed onto many mediums such as Wallpaper, Pop Up Banners, Canvas, Banners, Acetate to vinyl and so much more. Just ask and we will print!
DESIGN - Our in house design team with over 20 years experience can design all your business needs such as your stationery, logo and brand identity. Our innovative Team are constantly up to date with the latest trends that will keep you ahead of the market. Please call to discuss your requirements. Design – We can design from a blank canvas or you may provide images by email or hard copy. A proof will always be provided for approval prior to print and we will keep your design on file readily available for your next project. Simply contact us with your specification for a quote.
